Anuradha Aggarwal Takes Charge as Director of Marketing and Growth at Amazon India

Amazon India has promoted Anuradha Aggarwal to Director to lead Marketing and Growth for its India business. In her new role, she will be responsible for shaping the brand strategy, driving customer engagement, and enhancing Amazon’s growth initiatives across the country.

Journey at Amazon Pay

Aggarwal joined Amazon Pay in April 2022 as Director, User Growth and CMO. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in expanding customer adoption and boosting engagement on the payment platform.

A Career Spanning Multiple Industries

Before Amazon, Aggarwal was the Head of English, Infotainment, and Kids cluster at Disney-Star India until December 2020. Between 2015 and 2018, she served as Chief Marketing Officer at Marico, driving several successful brand and digital-first initiatives.

She has also held senior leadership positions with Mondelez International as Marketing Director – Biscuits, Asia Pacific, and with Vodafone as Senior Vice President – Brand Communications, Insights, and Online.

Early Career, Advisory Roles and Academic Background

• Aggarwal began her career with Hindustan Unilever in 1997 as an Area Sales Manager.
• Later, between 2020 and 2022, she worked closely with D2C startups as a Strategic Business Advisor, supporting early-stage brands in their growth journeys.
• Aggarwal holds a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from IIM Bangalore and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Sri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University.
